interactive map above lets you see Census 2000 population and race data
for all 50 states. To use the interactive map: |

Choose a theme from the drop-down list. |

Choose
the Info ( )
tool and click on a state to open a pop-up window with Census data about
that state. |

Choose
the Zoom In ( )
tool and click and drag a rectangle on the map to zoom in. For each map,
as you zoom in, the map will be updated to show the same theme at the county
level. For most maps, you will also be able to see the theme at the tract
level. |

|
Once
you zoom in, you can use the Info tool to get Census data about a county.
You can also use the Zoom Out ( )
tool and the Pan arrows to move around the map. |

To zoom to a state, choose it from the State drop-down list and click Find. To zoom to a city within a state, type the name of the city before clicking Find. |
